AIR INDUCTION HOLLOW CONE NOZZLE-TIPS AND THE DISC AND CORE.

AN INITIAL LOOK  AT  AIR INDUCTION HOLLOW CONE NOZZLE-TIPS AND THE DISC AND CORE.

Just showing the arrangement of the air induction spray-tip set up for a light cover application.

Air induction tips at 15 bar.

Current setup using the standard disc and cores also at 15 bar. Each farmer has his own theory and specific disc and core combinations.

Besides worn nozzles just imagine if it is possible to reduce the total volume sprayed in a season by say 20%. When you are going through 20'000'000 litres per season and you can reduce that to 16'000'000 litres ...... THAT'S ONE MASSIVE SAVING. LESS PRODUCT, LESS WEAR ON PUMPS AND EQUIPMENT AND LESS DIESEL.

These mist blowers are essentially used for light to medium cover sprays. No comment at this stage as I'm tweaking the volumes and getting a feel for the coverage. Once it is set up I'll test the distribution with water sensitive paper. The season is at an end and the only spraying is for false codling moth. Until next time check the pressure guages, regulators and in-line filters.
